Best Race 6 no 4 Irish Mint
Race 3 No 5 TENDERLEY
Tony McEvoy trained filly that indicated a win wasn’t too far away when catching the eye just last week. Love the fact this astute Stable are prepared to back her up quickly here stepping up to a trip we expect she will now relish. Likely to be spotting most of these a start however small field certainly a plus and in a race where there are definitely no superstars suggest this improving type to run well. Back to her own age getting in with just 52kg after the claim, more than happy to having something on at the current $7.50.

Race 6 No 4 IRISH MINT
Reckon this Richard Jolly trained gelding has found his ideal race. Drawn perfectly to jump straight on the bunny and lead without any obvious pressure. Meets Ascendance a handy 3kg better here for narrow/game defeat last start. Expect he will give supporters a huge sight whilst young Jake Toeroek also rides this bloke well having just missed the placings once in his five rides. Looks to have no excuses and with $4 being bet suggest he must rate as close to the days best bet!!
ODDS $4.0 @ Ladbrokes, BetEasy, Neds, BetStar
Race 7 No 3 LOPE DE CAPIO
Admittedly hasn't won for over a year now however suggest this bloke is going much better than initial form appears on paper. Certain to find this much easier than recent Melbourne efforts where he was far from disgraced including latest 1.75L defeat behind Dreamforce. Drawn to do no work having drawn barrier two and given just even/overdue luck reckon this bloke is the days best value bet of the day at the opening $13!!
ODDS $13.0 @ Sportsbet, Ladbrokes, BetEasy, Neds, PalmerBet, BetStar
Race 8 No 6 DANGER DEAL MacDonald/Gluyas four year old gelding resuming. Admittedly finds it tough to win having incredibly just the one win next to his name, however does have well above average ability and is rarely too far away in his races. Invariably runs well fresh whilst also has a good record at this track/distance having finished runner-up in three of previous four attempts. Drawn to do little work sitting off genuine tempo up front. Expect him to be right in the finish and rates a strong each-way chance with the opening $6 reading as more than appealing. Expect Charossa ($3.10) to again run well whilst France’s Boy ($16) is more than capable of improving at good odds. BET: WIN or EACH-WAY ODDS $6.0 @ Ladbrokes, BetEasy, Neds, BetStar
