The Big 6!

Comes back to the 100m up the straight after getting run down at 6 furlongs at Caulfield around the bend last time. She was a Listed winner the start prior, she has the speed to be on the pace at the 1000m also and drawn out wide looks ideal.

Has been very consistent this time in, his run at Morphetville was amazing at Listed level last time. He was three-wide without cover throughout, not far off the pace and kept coming through the line. He was beaten under a length at the finish and was huge in defeat. He has the good draw for the 1400m here and will be on the speed for a long way.

So strong through the line 2nd-up then shuffled back to last here before producing a brilliant finale to blow them away, her last 600m was some +6L Vs ave then she ran 2nd-fastest last 200m all day, doubt 1600m pulls her up.

Has won both runs this campaign, he has good tactical speed and was on the pace at both of those runs. The latest he led all the way and although he took a side-step late, the win was very comfortable. I am not positive that he will lead here, but even if he has to sit outside the leader, if he can control the tempo he will be very hard to run down.

Is first-up, he has a terrific record fresh (3:2-0-1) and has trialed well. He showed an amazing turn-of-foot in his last start win, he was well back before getting wide and still giving them 5 lengths at the top of the straight. Hugh Bowman hit the go button and he went from 5 back to hit the front in a few strides it seemed, eventually bolting in by 3.3 lengths.

Promising Danny O’Brien visitor that has returned in fine style producing strong two wins on end. These come after indicating ability in first campaign which included a 1.5L runner-up effort behind the smart Yes Yes Yes. Won her only start here a fortnight back despite having nothing go her way, when forced to race three wide without cover throughout. Met her two main rivals Balaabel ($2.80) and Li’l Kontra ($7.50) in that same race last start yet the market assessors have taken a liking for Balaabel here. Admittedly did produce a nice debut effort taking late ground off Absolute Flirt however must be noted did enjoy the ‘suck’ run throughout whilst our selection was working wide throughout. Absolute Flirt today draws ideally in barrier two whilst Balaabel we suggest will need luck having drawn out in eight. Must say pretty keen to have a good investment to start the day with the opening $3 really presenting as clear value!
