The Big 6!

Last week’s Big 6 was reduced to a Big 5 and got back to winning ways with 2 good collects on Iconoclasm (5.80) and Dirty Work (3.60).

Onto this week:

FLEMINGTON

R3 #8 LA CHEVALEE

Has shown she can handle all conditions with a heavy track win last start after being held-up at a vital stage to go with her fresh win on top of the ground to win her maiden. She stays at the 7 furlongs, will roll forward and should get the perfect sit in the box seat.

RANDWICK

R3 #5 REINVEST

Undefeated after two starts, he was given plenty of time before making his debut and hasn’t disappointed. Last start at Wyong in an easier class 1 he was long odds-on, sat outside the speed and stuck on well to score narrowly with a gap to third. Inside gate, Hughie riding, expect him to be very positive and try to hold the top.

R5 #5 SOUTHERN LAD

Beaten as favourite at Listed level before going to the paddock he resumed at Wagga over the carnival in the feature sprint the Town Plate, after starting favourite he got back in the run and hit the line well but found one better. Second-up record is ok, Guymer to JMac looks a huge plus.

R6 #10 MISS EINSTEIN

Made good ground fresh in fast race then looked big winning hope when gap closed on her here. Beaten 1L by Subpoenaed 3rd-up last prep then won on heavy by near 7L.

MURRAY BRIDGE

R7 #6 DONE BY ME

Plummets in grade from recent very good Listed efforts dropping back sharply to a BM68 affair whilst also suggest will also appreciate dropping back in trip when just didn’t see out the mile last start. As mentioned Crowther jumps back aboard whilst importantly noting has won two of her only three previous rides aboard this mare. Racing well and in the peak of fitness for this easily her easiest assignment this campaign. Given just even luck from the wide draw suggest the current $4.50 reads as most attractive as deserving of plenty of attention. Will also be trying Aiguilette ($12) again that was too bad to be true last start with market appearing to have overreacted early.
