The Big 6!

Last week was a losing week for the Big 6, finding God Of Thunder ($3) leaving us 3 units in the red for the day.

Onto this week:

MOONEE VALLEY
R4 #2 HAUT BRION HER

She is an excitement machine. She has gone through the grades nicely from maiden to winning an 88 last time, with her racing style o the speed and from the good gate, she looks suited to the Valley.

R5 #1 EXHILARATES

Built speed beautifully and strong to line winning Quezette fresh (her 11.40 last 200m was clear race-fastest) and 1200m ideal now. Only fail was on bog track in Slipper. (Oz Racing Form)
R9 #2 VINLAND

Wasn’t officially first-up at Flemington last time, but he had been off the scene for 7 weeks and ran on hard over the top to win. He loses nothing getting out to the mile, the speed looks genuine and he should only need cover when improving to once again finish too strong.

RANDWICK
R1 #1 SUPERIUM

Controversially lost the Up and Coming Stakes last time on protest when clearly doing the better through the line. He will only improve off that run and the small field suits, as does the wide draw.

R6 #6 ZOUSTYLE

He is undefeated after 6 starts but has only been beating up on his own age group in Qld. He resumes today stepping up against the best of the best, but wow, his trial was superb. The speed will be good, he has the ability to sit outside the leader or the box seat, and I just think his acceleration will be too much for them fresh.

MORPHETTVILLE
R3 #3 HEARTY LASS

Promising John Hyam trained filly making her much anticipated return to the racetrack after exploding onto the scene with a most impressive debut win. On that occasion displayed terrific speed when running her rivals into the ground when scoring by 3.5L as well as leaving subsequent dual Black-type winner Li’l Kontra in her wake! Been fitted for her first-up assignment coming into this off the back of two solid trials whilst maps to go straight to the front having drawn the fence. Although she meets a couple of handy types so muck is my opinion of this filly we must make her the days best bet at the opening $3.
