The Big 6!

Last week was a tough one for the Big 6, finding just the 1 winner with Adelaide Ace ($2.50).

Onto this week:

FLEMINGTON

R7 #4 CATALYST

Brilliant return win then sat handy and had 2-horse war with Alligator Blood at Oz debut giving him 1kg. They ran home very fast. Arguably his best win was his one go 1600m in NZ when recorded 32.19 last 600m.

R8 #3 ADMIRAL’S JOKER

Very lightly raced 7YO from the in-form Kylie Vella stable. HE ran on well resuming without ever looking the winner, then hit the line hard here last time. Should be fully wound up for this.

R9 #11 BIG NIGHT OUT

Was a real eye-catcher when resuming here off along break, he got a long way back and stormed home late out wide to just miss the placings. He was a winner last prep when second-up, also flashing home late, look for him weaving between runners over the last furlong. He looks to have come back well.

RANDWICK
R3 #1 PRAGUE

Is undefeated after two starts, he won at Canterbury on debut then sat outside the leader here a month ago and was way too good after doing all the work. Tommy Berry takes the ride and should be positive early

R4 #2 CASCADIAN

Former import that has shown plenty since arriving. He was targeted at the Epsom last year, backed up to win the Spring Mile here the start after and then place at G1 level in the big mile race on the first day of the Flemington carnival. He has shown that he has come back well, hit the line hard here for second a fortnight ago.

MORPHETTVILLE

R8 #10 HEART OF GRACE

As we all know these ex-Japanese imports have proven time and time again they are classes above our Australian stayers and think this mare profiles absolutely perfectly to firstly break through here over the 2600m before going on and smashing her rivals in the Adelaide Cup in a fortnights time. Indicated what she is capable of when getting over ground when scoring one of the most arrogant wins one would ever see when scoring by 12L hard held two starts back. Far from disgraced when dropping back sharply in trip last start when narrowly missing when also six weeks between runs. Admittedly bumps into the more than handy High Bridge ($2.50-will improve sharply back on top of the ground) however think Adelaide viewers may just be in for a special treat with this Freedman trained mare expected to display her staying class over the coming weeks. Good thing and we are getting $5.50…..betting up big time!!
