The Big 6!

Last week was a very nice one for the Big 6 with 3 winners from 5 runners – Super Seth ($5.50), Diamond Effort ($3.80) and Subpoenaed ($1.80)

Onto this week:

CAULFIELD

R2 #2 HOW WOMANTIC

Star in the making, I am certain of that. We were all over her before her debut off a fantastic jump-out, she has put three on end together to stay undefeated to start her career. The latest was at the Valley in the Gold Carat where she sat up on the speed and was way too good for her rivals.

R6 #10 ANAHEED

Resumes. Strong trial win. Forget last fresh run. Worn down by Loving Gaby in G1/WFA Manikato Stks before spell after working early (very good run). Beat good field of 3yo’s here prior. Keen measures up.

(Oz Racing Form)

R8 #10 BEGOOD TOYA MOTHER

Will be better for the run in the Australia Stakes first-up against a similar line-up and looks better suited back here at Caulfield where he has won three races. He over-raced badly in the run and was knocked off balance late, wouldn’t have won but was better than then the 4.45 length beaten margin suggests. If he can’t cross and lead, he should get cover.

WARWICK FARM
R2 #2 MR WONG

Won a Class 2 Highway last start when first-up, he had to sit three-wide without cover for a lot of the race and if he handles the ride in clas looks the one to beat.

R8 #5 SHARED AMBITION

Resuming off a 3-month break, he has not been defeated since his debut run and looks set for bigger things. He handles the wet well enough with two wins on the soft conditions, all three wins in Australia have been super and should have no problem at the mile fresh.

MORPHETTVILLE

R6 #1 EAGLE RIDGE

Mike Moroney trained visitor that comes into this off the back of some super honest Melbourne form. Obviously being travelled across the border in search of a confidence boosting win and seriously suggest couldn’t be any better placed in this Class ‘One Metro Win’ race. Despite the big drop in grade also actually drops 2kg in weight off recent efforts as well whilst also maps ideally from the good barrier making own luck up on the pace. At the opening $3 making this bloke the days best bet! Value runner Cotillion ($9.50) expected to relish the longer 1400m and good quinella chance.
