Murray Bridge (Sat)

Murray Bridge Racing Tips – Sat Jan 11th

We will be at Murray Bridge this Sat.

Race 4 no 1 LITTLE RICH BOY

John Hickmott trained frontrunner racing in clear career best form. Simply never looked like getting beaten when leading throughout two starts back before giving another bold sight just last week when runner-up behind the promising Picargo (tougher race!). Drops back to the 1000m here which we suggest can only be a positive, especially considering he should only have toughened having had the two 1200m runs whilst we expect he should be able to lead again. Also the icing on the cake is he returns to his home track. Quite simply stunned this bloke has opened $4.50 whilst the favourite is Silver Lining at $2.90…..we think the prices should be totally reversed….best bet!!

ODDS $4.50 @ Bet365.

Much improved Richard Jolly trained gelding that took all before him, progressing through the grades nicely, winning four races when last in work. Despite not having cracked it for a win this campaign suggest he has come back at least as well, hitting the line nicely in all three starts including first two against much tougher Listed company when not far off placegetters on each occasion. Gets three major big positives here, firstly dropping back to BM 78 company, whilst also finally looks to get race run ideally to suit with plenty of pressure engaged up front whilst also suggest the rise to 1400m for the first time is also a big tick! The icing on the cake is the $6 on offer….that’s big overs in our book!

ODDS $6.0 @ Sportsbet, Ladbrokes, BetEasy, Neds, Pointsbet, Bet365, BetStar.

Race 7 no 6 PASS THE GLASS

Country trained, Sue Jaensch mare that comes into this off a much deserved Bordertown Cup win, landing some good bets in the process. Prior to date indicated she wasn’t far away, when far from disgraced despite having little luck behind some in-form types. Obviously has a real liking for the 2000m having now won three of his only four attempts whilst Paul Gatt retains the ride attempting to make it two from two. Admittedly this is a wide open affair however just can’t let her go, especially on an each way basis at the opening $9. At the same time suggest Coffee Amour ($14) is also more than worthy of an investment.

ODDS $9.0 @ Ladbrokes, Neds, BetStar.

Race 8 no 14 ROBE BAY

Promising, lightly raced Peter Hardacre trained filly that comes into this having won two of her only three raced starts whilst only defeat was also a terrific performance. Ever since day one she has given every indication she would only keep on improving once she gets over more ground hence expect she will absolutely relish the longer mile. Meets the older gallopers here however not is negated by the fact all of her main rivals are being made to spot this filly a stack in weight getting in with just 52.5kg after the claim! Given we anticipate her to also appreciate the big, wide open spaces here at Murray Bridge anticipate we will see even further improvement which would certainly be good enough against her rivals here. Splash Some Cash ($15) best each-way value in the race.

ODDS $3.90 @ Sportsbet.
