Morphettville Racing Tips – Sat Dec 28th
We will be at Morphettville this Sat.
BEST RACE 6 no 7 COUNTER DRIVE
Race 3 no 5 CANNOT BE SERIOS Super honest type that is bursting to break through again having placed 4/5 most recent efforts. On top of that appears extremely well placed dropping a massive 7kg getting in with just 52kg in a no more than two Metro win race within the last twelve months. In fact would even suggest his form reads more consistent than any of these over the past twelve months. Maps to again enjoy the gun on-pace trail sitting just off likely leader Borris In Ossory and tipping he may very well steal a break on the rest of his rivals with the light weight. Suggest the current $5 is terrific overs and simply a no brainer at those odds considering we are really only scared of one of his rivals, Debt Collector ($2.80) whilst also equally keen to lay Raging Queen ($3.10). BET: WIN
ODDS $5.0 @ Sportsbet, Bet365.
Race 5 no 7 REGALO DI GAETANO
Relatively lightly raced Richard Jolly trained four year old gelding that displayed sharp improvement last campaign when progressing sharply through the grades winning four races including three on end. Suggest he has come back again at least as well, catching the eye in both runs back, finishing strongly on each occasion finishing not too far off the placegetters against much tougher Listed company. Drops back to a much more suitable BM85 affair, gets in down on the minimum whilst expect now peaks third-up. Certainly keen to get involved at the current $4.40 on offer.
ODDS $4.40 @ Sportsbet, Bet365.
Race 6 no 7 COUNTER DRIVE
Bursting to win having produced two cracking placings since resuming. Maps to settle a lot closer enjoying the gun on-pace trail whilst gets in with no weight carrying just 52.5kg after claim. Also suggest the rise to 1200m is ideal, especially remembering this blokes record at the track/distance is (4:1-3-0). Simply looks his race to win and reckon the opening $3.40 reads more than attractive, in fact rates as the days best bet!
ODDS $3.40 @ Ladbrokes, BetEasy, Neds, Bet365, BetStar.
Race 7 no 14 DISCO REBEL
Country trained, Sue Jaensch trained five year old mare that gave every indication she is nearing another win when finishing fourth beaten just 0.7L after racing in restricted room for pretty much the entire straight last start. As this was her first run stepping up to her more favoured longer trip this campaign thought she would still only benefit for having the run despite coming in for good support. Expect this daughter of Rebel Raider to only thrive now she is stepping up to 2046m whilst should be cherry ripe, fourth-up on Saturday. Our biggest problem may be getting a start because she is third emergency however simply stunned at the opening $26 on offer-certainly wouldn’t shock! Please note the second emergency Floriano has opened $51 which we also find just plain ridiculous whilst at the same time more than happy to take on the current favourite, Tatalina ($3.90).
ODDS $26.0 @ Sportbet.
