Morphettville Racing Tips – Sat Nov 30th

We will be at Morphettville this Saturday.

Race 3 no 5 SUNSTONE

Lightly raced Tony McEvoy three year old filly still only in her first campaign. Finished runner-up in her first two starts before breaking through for an impressive last start win. Gives every indication she will only be better again over more ground which she gets here stepping up to the mile for the first time. Given she still has plenty of upside expect to see a clear peak rating against, to be honest, her just moderate rivals. Maps ideally to do no work sitting handy-rates a conservative $2.50 in our books with the early $3.20 certainly making plenty of appeal.

ODDS $3.20 @ TAB.

Race 4 no 7 DOUBLE BLUE

Firstly must acknowledge this race certainly didn’t appeal when first doing the form however on closer inspection convinced we have found a more than solid play here. Despite missing the placings on both occasions since resuming must say have been quite taken with each of this filly’s efforts after covering ground throughout. Despite that, has never shirked her task, hitting the line gamely each time. Expect the rise to 1200m to be ideal whilst surely now is close to peaking third-up. The icing on the cake is the in-form Todd Pannell now jumps aboard. Rates $3.50 in our books hence certainly appeals at the early $4.40.

ODDS $4.40 @ Bet365.

Race 6 no 2 PALE ALE

Admittedly not one to win out of turn however must also be acknowledged this bloke is also rarely too far away in his races, especially in this class. Thought he was more than solid when far from disgraced when resuming, whilst expecting to see a horse that will have derived plenty for having had that run. Invariably one that goes forward and makes his own luck in his races and expect he will again enjoy the ideal on-pace trail with not too much pressure engaged up front. Most recent second-up performances also read more than encouraging. Yes he is in a wide open affair however the early $31 suggest reads as absurd overs and just impossible to ignore.

ODDS $31.0 @ Bet365.

More than handy McEvoy trained mare that simply won’t know herself here, literally plummeting grades in class from her recent Black type assignments. Despite that appears to get in terrific just 3kg above the minimum. Just hoping young Ethan Brown can slot her in midfield sitting off what appears to be at least a genuine tempo and given just even luck expect her class to shine through and finish right over the top of these. Although she does meet some handy types convinced, she is clearly the best galloper of this lot on her day. Rates $3.50 in our books hence certainly recommending a good play here in the last at the juicy $4.80.

ODDS $4.80 @ Sportsbet, BetEasy, Pointsbet, Bet365.
