Morphettville Racing Tips – Sat Nov 15th
We will be at Morphettville this Saturday.
BEST BET Race 6 no 2 SECRET VEGA
Race 3 no 6 NIPPERKIN
Admittedly a hard mare to follow as she doesn’t win out of turn however that’s still not to say she is more than consistent and certainly has her share of ability. Although now a six year old reckon one would be very close to the mark in suggesting she has never raced better having been most consistent this campaign, and mostly without any luck whatsoever. Quite simply looks to get this run to suit with likely more than genuine tempo up front whilst plummets a massive 5kg getting in here down on the minimum. Icing on the cake is the fact Todd Pannell now jumps aboard. Given even luck suggest she will take a ton of holding out late whilst expect punters should get more than the current $6.50 on offer.
ODDS $6.50 @ Bet365.
Race 5 no 1 MORVADA
Underrated Peter Jolly trained gelding that looks ready to peak now having had the two runs back, both over the unsuitably short 1200m. Resumed in the Listed Durbridge Stakes and had absolutely zero luck after racing four wide, without cover throughout. Followed that up with a most encouraging 2L fourth when seriously should have placed when looming briefly before finding trouble inside the final furlong. This clearly easier and although yet to win previously third-up, has finished in the money in four of his five third-up attempts. Stepping up to his preferred trip simply can’t see how he won’t be somewhere near the finish yet bookies have gone up a mouth-watering $8.50. Terrific each-way investment!
ODDS $8.50. @ Ladbrokes, BetEasy, Neds, Bet365, BetStar.
Race 6 no 2 SECRET VEGA
Most interesting to see Lloyd Kennewell return back to his old stomping ground where he is bringing just the one runner across the boarder in the shape of this four year old gelding. Absolutely won’t know himself dropping back from recent strong Victorian races dropping back to this just moderate no metro win race. A great indication of what this bloke is capable of is nearly twelve months to the day he was beaten just 0.6L when placed third behind Ringerdingding in a strong Listed race at Flemington. Suggest he would simply eat these up and spit them out if able to replicate that same rating here! Gobsmacked they went up $3.80, with the current $3.50 still representing terrific overs. We have him rated about $2.25 and a clear best bet hence recommending readers to simply load up!! Only one danger in our opinion with a recommended saver on Taikun Warrior ($4.20).
ODDS $3.50 @ Pointsbet.
Race 7 no 4 STAR STATUS
Expect this bloke to now be cherry ripe having had the three more than solid runs back since resuming whilst gives every indication he is now screaming out for the longer 1950m. Remembering he placed in much tougher Listed Port Adelaide Guineas earlier in the year yet gets into this just moderate BM 70 affair with just 54.5kg after the claim reeks of a horse that simply couldn’t be any better placed. Suggest he gives this a massive shake on best ratings and considering we are expecting close to a peak performance reckon the current $4.40 makes for a terrific opportunity for punters to get stuck into!
ODDS $4.40 @ Sportsbet, Ladbrokes, BetEasy, Neds, PointsBet, Bet365, BetStar, TAB
