Morphettville Racing Tips – Sat Sept 14th
We will be at Morphettville this Saturday.
BEST BET Race 4 no 1 BLUE MORPHO
Race 4 No 1 BLUE MORPHO
Despite finishing sixth, thought this Will Clarken trained mare was far from disgraced when resuming after getting a lot further back than expected. To be eventually beaten less than two lengths in what was a leader dominated race was actually a pretty good effort. Expect her to have taken plenty of benefit for having had that run and remembering second-up last campaign she was actually only beaten 1.25L in the Group Two Sunline Stakes!! Those formlines obviously read huge for this just moderate Bench Mark 75 affair whilst expect her to lead here in a race with absolutely no pace. Simply can’t see any of these giving her a start and a beating…..reckon the current $3.50 makes her close to the days best bet!
ODDS $3.50 @ Sportsbet, Ladbrokes, BetEasy, Neds, Pointsbet, Bet365, BetStar, TAB.
Race 6 No 6 NIPPERKIN
Underrated Barry Brook trained mare that is going much better than her recent form initially reads on paper having had very little go her way this campaign. Despite that has still been finishing close-up in her races behind. Also a massive statistic is the fact this mare hasn’t raced against Bench Mark 70 company for 26 months or in other words 22 race starts! Winkers also go whilst gains positive rider change with in-form hoop Cory Parish jumping aboard. Despite this she has opened up at a most generous $15…..each way all day!!
ODDS $15.0 @ Sportsbet, Bet365.
Race 7 No 8 SIR JOHNSON
Much improved Country trained galloper racing in clear career best form. Given even luck very easily could be coming into this having won his past three on end having finished runner-up in his two most recent runs after winning three starts back. Importantly expect him to have taken plenty of benefit for having had his first run over the mile last start whilst also suited dropping back slightly in class. Maps ideally to do absolutely no work sitting handy just off leaders from rails draw….expect him to again be right in the finish and suggest he can give supporters a terrific run for their money each-way at the current $8.50.
ODDS $8.50 @ Neds, BetStar.
Race 5 no 5 DALASAN
Super promising/talented South Australian visitor that quickly announced that he had returned, bigger and better than ever when gave subsequent Group One winner Scales Of Justice a start and a beating when resuming. Not only did he impress on the eye, but his win was confirmed on the clock when rating highly! Indicated he was a horse with a bright future winning two of his only three 2yo races with his only defeat coming when produced a game/narrow runner-up effort when simply should have won the Group Two Sires Produce in his only previous campaign. Don’t mind going on the record in suggesting this bloke just might be a future top-liner, as might connections, as he is a Cox Plate nomination! Expect him to really announce himself on Saturday as a serious contender….reckon the current $3.50 here is outstanding value!!
ODDS $3.50 @ BetEasy, Neds, PointsBet, BlueBet, Bet365, BetStar, TAB.
