We will be at Morphettville this Saturday.
BEST Race 2 no 4 THREE LEGS IN
Race 2 no 4 THREE LEGS IN
Three year old gelding, and might we mention the only acceptor for this Morphettville meeting from the red hot Ciaron Maher and David Eustace Stable. Although this bloke didn’t beat much last start he was impressive when leading throughout, not only on the eye but on the clock too! Don’t expect he will lead in this however maps to enjoy the perfect trail, doing very little work from rails draw and if he runs up to his last start rating will simply win. After young Lachlan Neindorf’s claim he gets in terrific down on the minimum with 54kg. Reckon the opening $3.10 is a steal….betting up!!
ODDS $3.10 @ Sportsbet, Pointsbet.
Race 4 no 4 BLUE BEAR
Admittedly disappointed last start when never got into the race however did pull up with excuses when returned lame. Also must be noted started hard in the betting on that occasion in a much tougher BM78 affair. That came off the back of a couple of more than handy placings, both over this same track/distance and both behind some real in-form gallopers and again against tougher company to what he meets in this. Honestly can’t believe the early $11 this bloke has opened, again really off just the one moderate effort where he was still only beaten 4.2L! Certainly not potting the favourite Allusion however at the same time couldn’t possibly back something that was hardly impressive winning a BM64 affair last start and has gone up $2.30?? Also note Sir Garfield ($9) is one we won’t be losing on….at least as a saver!
ODDS $11.0 @ Sportsbet, PalmerBet.
Race 6 no 5 FAROOQ
Former smart 2yo that went within a lip of winning a Geelong Classic. Then spent some 60 weeks on the sidelines before resuming, and although went down as a beaten favourite was still far from disgraced when worked home solidly to finish runner-up. Expect this bloke to have derived plenty for having had the outing whilst the step up to the mile is also certain to suit. Meets a couple of handy types here however at the $7.50 and what he is capable of (previous ratings are streets ahead of the others!), simply can’t resist specking him at the seemingly generous overs without going overboard. Concede scared stiff of Blow Torch ($3.20) that simply wasn’t entitled to win last start when taken over to Melbourne.
ODDS $7.50 @ Bet365.
Race 8 no 5 HASTA LA WAR
Most promising Country trained four year old that gets his chance to add some Black-type next to his name coming into this off some cracking recent form. In fact will be attempting to make it five on end after an outstanding effort last start effort to score, despite being ten weeks between runs dropping back in trip. Rises to more ideal 2043m here whilst gets in on the minimum. Absolutely no worries with young Teagan Voorham retaining the mount as she has an outstanding affinity with this galloper having steered this bloke home to six wins and one runner-up effort in just her seven rides aboard! As well as that this gelding also knows how to repay his supporters as he has saluted 5/7 times when starting favourite! In saying that will also be specking a couple at big overs, firstly Master Chum ($18) whilst Jackthegiantslayer ($51) is also far from hopeless at massive odds.
ODDS $3.50 @ Bet365.
