Big 6 (Sat)

Big 6 – June 11

Last week’s Big 6 found one winner, Passive Aggressive (3.20).

Onto this week:

:one: Sandown R2 #5 STARRY LEGEND
:two: Sandown R4 #3 STAR OF CHAOS
:three: Sandown R7 #3 VISINARI

:four: Randwick R8 #2 MR MOSAIC
:five: Eagle Farm R6 #3 HUETOR
:six: Morphettville R1 #5 IL DON CAVALLO

SANDOWN

R2 #5 STARRY LEGEND

Was ridden with a sit to his detriment last start as he’s a jump and run horse. Hopefully Jye has learned from the ride and will take him to the front and lead this field. He is 2 from 2 at the track and should be suited on the wet track. Meets last start victor AHFORD STREET 4.5kgs better so should be able to turn the tables here.

R4 #3 STAR OF CHAOS

Absolutely bolted in over this trip on the Lakeside last start by leading all the way. Can dictate here again and prove hard to hold out.

(Champion Bets)

R7 #3 VISINARI

Wide all way and excellent to 1600m Caulfield latest splitting two who were coming off very good wins themselves, as this guy was! Has to handle Heavy but top pick.

(Oz Racing Form)

RANDWICK

R8 #2 MR MOSAIC

Was a game 0.15L 2nd last start, at SCONE in the Listed Ortensia Stakes 1100. This fellow is 2 from 4 when racing 2nd up and 3 from 9 at the distance. The drying track suits and he looks likely to lead this without much pressure for the lead. Should get every chance to return to the winners stall.

EAGLE FARM

R6 #3 HUETOR

Upset the mighty ZAAKI last start in the G1 Doomben 10 000 over 2100m. He is at his peak now and bodes wins over 2250 and 2400 so the extra 100m of this race is no concern. A good track and a bit of speed on should see this fellow storm home again.

MORPHETTVILLE

R1 #5 IL DON CAVALLO

Think Peter Nolan has a promising type here in the way of this lightly raced three year old. Thought this blokes effort when having first run in five weeks just last Saturday was full of merit despite only finishing fifth. Firstly, simply found the 1000m too sharp whilst also found trouble at a crucial stage when picking up revs. Convinced he would have been right in the finish given clear air. Now stepping up to more suitable 1200m whilst must have done well to be backing up quickly here. Admit the fav Starts With Hello will be hard to beat however ratings have not too much between the pair with this bloke the clear better bet at current prices….rates $3.50.
