:one: 2:57pm R7 #10 JUSTAKIDD

Don’t let this blokes first-up tenth of eleven fool you as he was simply run off his legs early over the unsuitably short 1000m. His final sectionals were terrific including a meeting fastest 11.24 for final 200m. Finished close-up last campaign behind horses that have subsequently gone on to much better things. Convinced we have yet to see the best of this bloke, obviously strips fitter second-up, rise to 1200m is ideal whilst now also gains the services of Vorster. Given no scratchings rates a conservative $5 chance hence shapes as a great early value each-way play.

:two: 3:37pm R8 #10 WILD IMAGINATION

Four year old mare from the red-hot in-form Richard & Chantelle Jolly Stable. Forget this mares first-up 1.6L sixth, given any clear room whatsoever she gives that race a massive shake, after being badly held up on winners back, going to the line untested. Thrown in at the deep end last time out when simply outclassed against Group Two company. Plummets back to a very winnable BM68 affair whilst steps up to more favourable trip. Unbeaten, winning two previous third-up starts whilst also won only start here at Murray Bridge. Open race however the current opening double-figure odds are simply crazy….rates $6.

:three: 4:17pm R9 #14 NONAME LANE

Super honest Will Clarken trained gelding that progressed nicely through the grades last campaign. Resumed off a most impressive trial win over Howl and despite finishing just a 3.8L seventh first-up, thought his return had plenty of merit after racing no closer than four wide without cover throughout. To stick on as well as he did clearly showed he has again returned as well as ever. Maps ideally stalking leader from the more favourable draw and given this bloke still has plenty of improvement left in the locker, reckon he profiles as a terrific each-way investment at the early double figure odds…rates $8.

 :four: 4:55pm R10 #12 SACRED ARMOUR

Lightly raced gelding that has come on leaps and bounds this campaign. Has been virtually thrown in at the deep end in his past two starts and run with distinction, despite having been dealt very little favours. Plummets back to a BM64 affair here with the only query being he is yet to be tried over this longer 1400m trip. In saying that does give every indication that won’t be a problem whilst Tourneur jumps back into the saddle (won only previous ride aboard). Remembering he did start fav against BM78 company two starts back it is no surprise to see he has been found in the early markets. Still rates a bet at $5 or better which is what he is with markets still well over 140%.
