Saturday @ Morphettville:

12:22pm R1 #9 LIANNE
2:07pm R4 #8 PERCEPTIVE & #7 LIBIAMO
3:22pm R6 #14 BUNDLE OF FUN
4:02pm R7 #10 GLINT OF HOPE

:one: 12:22pm R1 #9 LIANNE

Backing back-markers around the Parks circuit often fraught with danger however with tempo up front expected to be strong we simply must be on. Also certain to appreciate sharp class-drop coming from BM78 grade whilst assured Eran Boyd knows this mare well having the good record of (5:2-0-1). Looks to be screaming out for the longer 1400m….an absolute each-way bet to nothing at the opening $19!

:two: 1:32pm R3 #2 HEKA EXPRESS & #7 DIAMONDS

Tough/open race however must forgive this mare one bad run, especially considering that came second-up over the difficult Oakbank circuit. First-up effort when narrowly missing placings in the Listed Manihi Classic reads terrific for this suggesting bookies have totally overreacted to that last start effort. Also has the ratings from her last campaign to give this a shake. Gets ideal frantic tempo up front and certainly wouldn’t shock to see her charge over the top of these late at the big $14 on offer….each-way!!. Also have plenty of time for Diamonds ($8.50) and despite appearing awkwardly drawn buried down on the fence will also have her going for a winning result.

:three: 2:07pm R4 #8 PERCEPTIVE & #7 LIBIAMO

Thought this Price/Kent trained filly was so brave in defeat despite going down by 3L behind Mac ‘N’ Cheese last start after setting up a strong tempo up front. Before that had zero luck, also in a solid form race when still not beaten too far. Drops back to 1400m here having drawn ideally whilst the obvious icing on the cake is J.Kah now takes the reins. Expect leads and gives us a big sight each-way at opening $11.0. Also must have Libiamo ($13) going for a winning result despite not ideal speed map…still very much untapped!

 :four: 3:22pm R6 #14 BUNDLE OF FUN

Patrick Payne trained filly that is also first emergency and in our opinion a real live chance if gains a run in the Group One Australasian Oaks. Tasmanian Oaks winner that was outstanding when having first run in seven weeks last start, and should have been right in the finish given better luck. Rises up to her preferred trip here and although has been dealt no favours at the barrier draw reckon she rates an outstanding each-way bet at the opening $13.

:five: 4:02pm R7 #10 GLINT OF HOPE

Most promising Busuttin/Young trained Deep Impact filly that appears trained to the minute for this most suitable race. All three runs this time in terrific, winning effortlessly first-up, before also catching the eye placing in two subsequent runs. Two starts back was just pipped late by My Whisper that has opened up favourite. Here however our selection meets My Whisper a whopping 4kg better. Primed for this with another lovely strong-finishing placing last start. Rise to this trip ideal whilst maps to do no work. Another that rates a great each-way bet to nothing at the opening $12. Also if Bundle Of Fun ($26) gains a run and starts here we must also be on at the current $26.
